The LGA commissioned the Institute for Employment studies to undertake an analysis of differences between local labour markets in England.

The final workforce data standards have been published by the LGA, DCSF and its partners. A review process will revisit the standards but no changes will be made to the data standards without full consultation with all partners and the sector as a whole.

On 19 May over 30 councils attended a morning roundtable to discuss their priorities for the new rough sleeping strategy, due to be released later in the year. The roundtable was broken up into three workshops to look at what central government, local government and the third sector can do to help end rough sleeping.
