Sector-led improvement: the impact and lessons learned

Thumbnail

In order to help demonstrate the impact and key elements of sector-led improvement, the LGA commissioned Shared Intelligence (Si) to capture authorities’ experience of the process in the words of the leaders and chief executives concerned.

Interviews with Leaders and chief executives from 19 councils which have either hosted a corporate peer challenge or received sustained improvement support from the LGA were undertaken.

The final report is available and aims to capture stories of the experience of sector-led improvement, its impact and the lessons learned in the words of the people involved. It is hoped that this will help to disseminate learning from the process and demonstrate the robustness and impact of sector-led improvement.
