Write a scene in a local gov thriller in three easy steps

This is a creative exercise asking participants to make up a fictional story and is best done in pairs.

  • Step 1: Create a character, give them a name, any job in local government, give them a strength and a weakness, a desire and an ally or an opponent
  • Step 2: Throw them into a disaster – imagine something thrilling happens.
  • Step 3: See how the character changes
