To address the issues of youth crime, anti-social behaviour and reoffending, Bradford Metropolitan District Council used customer insight to better understand and engage with young people, to divert them away from offending and improve compliance with court orders. This has helped to reduce overall costs through lower expenditure on policing, court appearances and short custodial sentences, and it should contribute to lower levels of crime within the locality.

This has resulted in more targeted youth offending services being delivered and the removal of duplication amongst different agencies.
