The LGA’s second #CouncilsCan Day is an online campaign to highlight the critical work of local government during the coronavirus pandemic.
In this time of national crisis, councils have provided crucial local leadership.
The local services we deliver have been absolutely essential to the COVID-19 response – all across the country councils have protected lives and livelihoods, and kept their communities running.
On 10 November 2020, we are encouraging councillors and local authority staff to come together and share the amazing work they have been doing during the pandemic by using the hashtag #CouncilsCan across social networks.
