CreateSpace was a two-year partnership project of five cultural organisations across the West Midlands, working with art practitioners, to improve participant wellbeing.

Create Gloucestershire is a consortium of arts and cultural organisations and individuals working together to make arts ‘everyday’ for local people.

The Church Street Regeneration Programme aims to improve the quality of life of the people who live and work in the area and will bring around 1,750 high quality new homes, greener and more pedestrianised spaces, and new community services to support the health and wellbeing of the local community. 

During the pandemic, Reading Borough Council’s Arts & Venues service championed theatre, by staging live and digital performances, and maximised opportunities to improve our customers’ experience.

Gainsborough’s Mayflower 400 cultural programme was a wide ranging arts-led approach to engage the public with a shared heritage connecting them to people and places across the world.

Beyond Brontës was launched in 2019 by Screen Yorkshire and Bradford Metropolitan District Council (MDC). The initiative increases diversity in the screen industries by providing TV and film production training and work placements to young people aged 18 to 30.

Cambridge Junction, in partnership with HighRise Theatre and Romsey Mill charity, worked with young people at risk of exclusion or excluded from education and employment in a newly built area of Cambridge.

The work began in 2012 with a series of events for arts practitioners and health-based commissioners to discuss joint working. This led to a £250,000 investment from the council’s public health and arts services, along with investment partners Artswork and Royal Opera House Bridge, for a pilot commission.

Art UK’s unprecedented photography and digitisation project has resulted in the UK’s collection of over 14,000 public sculptures and monuments being freely available to view and search online for the first time ever.

Mansfield Museum successfully obtained funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to undertake the Creative Women Together project. This holistic and therapeutic project gives women at risk a special creative experience they can be proud of.
