Open House is a long-term creative collaboration between Kettle’s Yard art gallery and its neighbouring communities in North Cambridge. What initially started as an audience development programme resulted in broader impact developing pride, a sense of place, a reduction in social isolation and improved wellbeing.

Showtown worked with youth organisation HeadStart and professional comedians to deliver Open Up the Mic, a 12-week course supporting young people aged 10-15 to develop their resilience, performance skills and confidence.

Bromsgrove DC and Redditch BC received a grant from the LGA under the LGA Productivity Experts Programme. The Councils commissioned an LGA recommended expert to provide an options appraisal into how the councils can fulfil their strategic aim of generating more income. Swale Borough Council – photographic walks An example of using photography to engage local people in examining and appreciating their local environment is from Swale Borough Council. ‘Roaming Perspectives' is a programme of photographic walks on the Isle of Sheppey.

The Government has supported the proposal for a new garden town in the District, between Folkestone and Ashford, perfectly located next to Junction 11 of the M20 and Westenhanger Station. The plan is to provide long term growth for homes and jobs in the district in a high quality, landscape-led environment.

Schools work to integrate sustainability into all areas of their curriculum, develop processes to support net zero, plan for outdoor learning and nature connection and provide opportunities for young people, their families and communities to tackle climate action.
