The Streetbase Peer Engagement programme takes place in Waltham Forest, London. Street-level youth patrol teams, made up of young people aged 16-25, speak to other young people in the borough about their views, needs and opinions.
The #ReduceDomesticAbuse campaign was initiated by Doncaster Youth Council as a result of the UK Youth Parliament Make Your Mark ballot, and also coincided with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council’s plans to develop a domestic abuse prevention campaign.

North Somerset Council are developing a roadmap and action plan focusing on measures to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve energy efficiency and reduce their carbon emissions. As part of the LGA’s Economic Growth Advisers programme, Eunomia Research and Consulting were commissioned to produce a report to assess the carbon emissions by sector as well as the challenges faced by sectors with the highest emissions in achieving net zero. The report makes recommendations on support programmes the council can develop to help SMEs reduce emissions.
At the beginning of the Covid 19 vaccination programme, the emphasis was on vaccinating people most at risk from the virus, as well as frontline workers who were working directly with them. This was mainly older people, but also included clinically extremely vulnerable people too.
Norfolk's approach to supporting pathways for the hard-to-reach groups in the Council is not documented in a single published strategy but is evident through the range of more specific council strategies for supporting vulnerable and hard-to-reach young people. This includes those with special education needs or disabilities (SEND), youth offenders, and those in care or leaving care.
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council provides a mentoring service for apprentices in the private or public sectors. This is part of the Council’s employment and skills team and links with wider services to support harder-to-reach young people, including care leavers and those with disabilities.
