The LGA Consultancy offers the following product to develop skills and knowledge:
Apprenticeship support programme
The LGA provides support to local authorities so they can maximise the return on investment of their Apprenticeship levy. The programme works closely with the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Department for Education to help shape the emerging policy implementation.
The LGA’s apprenticeship support programme provides:
- networks and events across English regions
- published guidance on key topics to share practice and learning, such as the LGA’s guidance on Procuring Apprenticeship Training
- insight into practice and progress across all councils in England
- access to the online network Khub with dedicated discussions on the Apprenticeship Levy.
