Inclusion at the National Children and Adult Services Conference 2021

The LGA continue to work with our membership, our partners, people who draw on adult social care and organisations that represent them to meet joint ambitions around continual improvements to representation, co-design and coproduction in our work on adult social care.

The LGA continue to work with our membership, our partners, people who draw on adult social care and organisations that represent them to meet joint ambitions around continual improvements to representation, co-design and coproduction in our work on adult social care.

We continue to stress the need for all adult social care sessions at the National Children and Adult Services Conference (NCASC) for the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), the Association of Directors of Children's Services (ADCS) and LGA members to directly involve people who draw on care and health, their family, friends, unpaid carers and those that work with them. We have developed the online programme with a range of organisations that include and are led by people who draw on social care. We want to continue to make more progress with partners on this, with many thanks to those involved in supporting our work on adult social care to become more inclusive.

As NCASC 2021 is a virtual conference, we are also offering 100 free places for people who draw on adult care and support to attend this year via our partners. You can find more detail on the conference programme on our events website.
