Estate Regeneration Survey and £10 million Fund

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) is seeking to understand the national picture of housing estate regeneration activity. This includes councils’ progress with estate regeneration projects, any barriers to delivery, as well as the expected impact of these projects.

The estate regeneration survey below is now closed.

The One Public Estate programme (OPE) is partnering with DLUHC to collate this information from councils through an online survey.

In addition, DLUHC has a capital fund of £10 million to support a small number of estate regeneration projects across the country in the financial year 2021-22. Note this is a one-off investment to support regeneration activity in 2021-22. There are no plans to extend this funding to future years.

Thank you to those who submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) and survey responses to the Government's £10million funding opportunity to support Estate Regeneration projects in 2021-22.

The Expression of Interest stage is now closed. all respondents have been contacted directly. Only projects that have successfully passed the EOI stage have been invited to apply.

What happens next

Projects that have successfully passed the EOI stage are invited to apply to the full application stage via the application template which can be found below.

Further details on the full application stage can be found in the prospects. There is also an FAQ section to support applicants.

Applications must be received by DLUHC via email [email protected] by 12:00 noon 15 October 2021.
