The LGA Independent Group has three dedicated members of staff. The staff work as a team and collectively deliver on the work from the LGA and the priorities of the Group.

Abigail has overarching responsibility for the LGA Independent Group Office within the LGA. She is a member of the LGA’s Corporate Leadership Team. Abigail has a background in policy and takes responsibility for the Group’s policy positioning and work with the policy boards.

Rodrigo’s areas of responsibility include the peer support programme, Be a Councillor, the weekly bulletin, and social media. Rodrigo also supports the Group on the Fire Services issues.

Noleen’s areas of responsibility include the policy board Think Tanks, events management, data management, finance management and website management. Noleen also supports the Group’s work on refugees and asylum.
